PLEASE NOTE: Employees of the Australian Federal Government should NOT be using this site for domestic business travel accommodation. Please refer to your Intranet or travel administrator for more details.

Terms

By booking accommodation with www.government.travel you ('the Customer') agree to the following terms and conditions:

  1. Cancellations or amendments to a booking must be made online through www.government.travel or email bookings@government.travel or call 1300 082 017 (during NSW business hours). Failure to advise of a cancellation or amendment, within the described cancellation policy, will result in a cancellation fee being charged equivalent to the cost of the first night's accommodation.
  2. www.government.travel will facilitate payment for the room only charges for your booking; the traveller will be responsible for any incidental or additional charges.
  3. www.government.travel will advise the hotel of any guest's special requests. However the implementation of these requests is at the discretion, and responsibility, of the hotel. The Lido Group cannot guarantee or be held responsible for any hotel's failure to act upon any requests made by the booker.
  4. Please take the emailed copy of your booking confirmation and proof of identity (if required) to the hotel at time of check-in.
  5. The collection of the personal information you have given to us to make your reservation is governed by Australian laws. The Lido Group will never pass any personal information to a third party. 
  6. The hotel may require on check-in a credit card imprint or a cash deposit to guarantee for any incidental charges.

Charges

  1. 100% payment is required to complete a new booking.
  2. Cancellations made within 72 hours of arrival (at 2pm, 3 days prior to arrival) will incur the first night's accommodation charge.
  3. Cancellations made outside 72 hours from arrival (at 2pm, 3 days prior to arrival) will not incur any charge.
  4. No merchant or booking fees are applied to any bookings made through www.government.travel.
  5. Hotels may charge a % merchant fee for additional items purchased and we suggest you enquire at the hotel prior to check-in of these charges.
